Lavender Cafe, L.Table @ One Utama

I believe ramai yg tau Lavender bakery but not many yg tau there is a dining place located at the back of the bakery at One Utama. You have to go through the bakery and it's not really visible from luar. This was my third visit and now br nk review lol.

Iced Honey Matcha

Iced green tea with honey. If you don't like honey, this is not for you!

Summer Salad

Salad with slices of oranges and strawberries, topped with pine nuts. The vinaigrette was sweet n sour. Yummyliscious and very recommended! 

Fristo Misto

Deep fried shrimps, squids, some kind of ikan kecik, and onion rings. I loveee shrimps and squids, sooo mmg hbs la those. BUT the onion rings were just mediocre. not that good. The ikan kecik, was fried whole. together with the head and tulang2. I believe the concept was to eat the whole thing mcm tu je. dgn tulang2 sume. One of the dish ada roe dieee and I dont like telur ikan, so tak makan lah. it was hanyir and not nice. patut nye appetizer kn but they really upset my taste buds.

Scallop Pesto Pasta

The pasta tasted really strongly of cardamom. Yes, buah pelaga. I'm so sure it's pelaga. I've tasted pesto before, n no tak rasa mcm ni. grrrr x sdap ok wth buah pelaga dlm pasta. The scallops were undercooked, but nicely seasoned though. However, bila hbs kunyah, my teeth felt corroded. I dont know why but serious rasa corroded. Not recommended.

 Enchiladas with Salsa Verde

Some shredded chicken mixed with salsa verde wrapped in torilla and baked. Quite nice jugak la. Better than the pesto at least. Pedas2 skit. Masin2 cheese. with quacamole and sour cream.

Panna Cotta

The panna cotta sat right below the pile of berries compote. The panna cotta itself was nice. I've never tried one before but yg penting it tasted nice. Macam puding susu. Macam puding kepada creme caramel. The berry compote on the other hand, tasted like Brands Essence of Berries with a hint of something weird. Lepas rasa2 we concluded, they added alcohol into it. The waitress did not warn us about this (she did warn us about other dishes). I just buang the compote onto the piring and my mom siap lap2 lagi any jus2 atas panna cotta tu, takot mabok. hahahha

Chocolate Clafoutis

Hmm I like the idea of it. Macam wet soft brownies baked inside the mangkuk. bahagian atas macam nice and rangup, inside ada hazelnuts and mcm gooey2 chocolate. BUT the flavor of the gooey2 chocolate was lacking. Not decadent enough. X mencapai tahap yg diingini. not that great lah senang cakapnye.

French Lamb Rack

I ordered this twice during my prior two visits to L.Table. My first time eating it was the most exquisite feeling in the world. Sedap nak mampos. Lamb was cooked medium rare/medium and seasoned to perfection. The meat melted in my mouth and didn't taste like lamb at all! My second visit ordering this, the lamb was not seasoned as well as before and not as tender too. Kira ikot nasib la chef masak mcm mana haha. But it's definitely a must try! Served with green beans and mashed potatoes.
