Lesson #3: Abg Dos' Golden Rule of Life

The first ever life lesson I learned was around 4 years ago and it's my eldest brother's 'Golden Rule of Life'.

Haa mesti curious gila kan sampai golden2 lak pebende ni.

According to him, the Golden rule is:

Don't ever tolong orang.

hahaha tak make sense. so antisocial and cold.

I guess what he meant was, nak tolong orang tu baik2 sikit, nnt kena pijak kepala kot. also, maybe it's related to lesson #1, buat baik tak always dibalas baik. not everyone in this world is nice and appreciative. once the problem is gone, the person disappears. datang cari masa susah je.

contoh pertolongan yg risky:
- bagi pinjam duit
- duit
- duit
- makanan
- duit
- oh yes kes budak sekolah (which will no longer be my problem in a month's time!): bagi tiru homework pastu bila ko nak tiru die nye die tak bagi. scumbag pretentious person. or orang tu asik nak tiru homework je. halo hang igt aku solution manual yg free kt torrent tu?

so, you help people at your own risk. jangan nak sedih2 kalo budi anda tidak dibalas atau dikenang. atau kepala anda dipijak dan dilenyek seperti kentang putar. why? sebab abg dos dah cakap awal2.

Lesson #2: Keep Calm

While sometimes I think the saying Keep Calm and blabla is so overly used, there are truths to them.

Whatever challenges or hardships come facing us, we must not panic and be overwhelmed by it. I had made a lot of decision under a panic attack and I wished I had waited for my mind to clear up and think about it thoroughly.

If you need to take some time to cool down before deciding anything, do it. Because sometimes things are better that way. Slow yourself down when you feel like the situation is pushing you for an answer. Chillax. Sometimes, not stressing your whole life on a serious matter will make you feel better.

I had a few hampir-sakit-jantung-nak-breakdown moments over the last year and I'm learning to calm myself  down before taking any measures. Contoh: Mara mintak balik spent overpaid allowance, IRS, saham, class extra fees, bank fraud, the loss of adamaya. yes, semua nya money related. For me, anything involving money is dead serious. But then again, must remain calm in handling situations.

Life Lesson #1

For those of you who have had your blog up since you're teenagers (oh my now we're entering adulthood), mesti bila tgk balik post2 lama rasa, "omg, why did I write that?".

So, utk mengelakkan the future me to feel that way about the present me, I am going to start a life-lesson series. Sebab everyday we face different situations that teach us about so many things. and sometimes we forget about those things.

Lesson #1: Life is Unfair

In a perfect world, buat baik dibalas baik. buat jahat kena balasan. only those who deserve things will get what they want. But in reality, shit happens. you can't always get what you want. people are selfish. no one would sacrifice for you (unless it's your mum or family members). so, the sooner you accept the fact that life is unfair and will always try to screw you up, the better you will be able to handle the craps life gives you.

but sometimes this unfairness favors you. sometimes things just fall into your laps. you don't even have to try. so depends on life punya mood swing la kan nak masuk our side or others

To my gugurls

tetiba terfikir that I am blessed to have friends who accept me the way I am. considering yg even I myself won't possibly be friends with some like me, suke marah dan emo hahah

dulu i had friends yg kawan sb benefits je. but now apa lah sgt benefit yg my friends got from me? meal plan and com cash? hahah not so much pon. tak sama major so obviously bukan sb nak tiru homework ke apa lols

but then i have to remind myself to jaga perangai kalo tak nnt org can't take it anymore and benci aku. i mean everyone have feelings and kena la jaga hati org jugak, bukan org yg layan aku je.
