I really loveee this foundation. Since my skin has been really good lately, there's not much to cover and this foundation is perfect! Lightweight and ada SPF. love the finish. can't ask for more.

Kat Von D Tattoo Eyeliner

Doesn't smudge at all. mmg guna sampai habis.

Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge in Pink Truffle

An old favorite yg dah suka balik. My lips are so easily chapped and I can't wear any lipsticks. This pot rouge however gave my lips a natural but better tint and is not dehydrating at all.

MUFE Full Cover concealer in #7

A little goes a long way! As the name suggest, full coverage. can use on breakouts and under eye.

New Makeup/Skincare for Oily Skin Haul

Since I got home from the States, I noticed that my face gets shinier more quickly than it used to. I knew I need to do something about it because I don't want to go to interviews with a shiny face -.-

Himalaya Skincare  (RM39.90)

I researched what is the best cleanser for oily skin and this brand was in the top of the list. I don't want something completely drugstore (I have trust issues with em) and taknak la luxury brand mcm Chanel ke apa. It contains tumeric ke apa tah which supposed to be really good. and there was an offer amik 3 of the small size only for RM 39.90. One full size cleanser is RM 35. so this was a good starter deal :)

MUFE Mat Velvet+ in #55 (RM160)

As all of you probably would know, my fav foundation is the MUFE HD but it cannot control my oiliness. So I decided to try it's brother (since nama Mat so lelaki la kot). MakeupByTiffanyD loves this so I am more than willing to give it a try. The Beauty Advisor matched me to a number 55 which I think is a bit light but number 65 might be a little bit dark. I guess it's better to go lighter since I can powder it to a darker tone.

MUFE Full Cover Concealer (RM 120)

Another product that I really wanted to try out for a long time. The Beauty Adviser matched me to a number 7 which I think is a bit light. but after blending and powdering it looks okay.

MAC Blot Powder (RM95)

After my research, I decided to buy the MAC blot powder because it got really good reviews and reasonably priced. It does not provide any coverage and is translucent actually which is perfectly fine with me. I just want a powder that sets my makeup and controls the shine.

May Favorites

Since school was over in early May, I went out more frequently and hence pakai mekap pon slalu la lagi. and there are some obvious favorites and I'm happy because I can do a fav post!

LORAC pro palette

You can say that throughout this month, I have been solely using this palette for all my eye makeups. and I wore a lot of eye makeups especially during my senior farewell party, graduation, and euro trip. All of the colors are gorgeous and it has equal numbers of matte and shimmery colors which is perfect for me because I prefer matte! matte color doesn't crease as much as shimmery ones on oily eyelids. matte looks more natural too.

NARS DeepThroat

Deep throat is a pale peach color with golden shimmers that are not too obvious once applied. I find it natural looking. it is not as pigmented as other blushes but I don't mind swirling in my brush a few times since the color is prettyy.

Fresh Sugar Rose lip balm 

I've been wearing this lip balm on top of my regular body shop aloe lip balm a lot. lip balm on lip balm?? well sometimes lipsticks get my lips dried after a few hours, so nak senang pakai ni je. give a nice tint to my lips too.

NARS eye primer

okay, this is my HOLY GRAIL eye primer. UD primer potion is overrated. crease jugak eyeshadow pakai UD (I HAVE REALLY OILY EYELIDS). but this one. yesss it definitely does the job. after 12 hours crease la jugak but better than UD. UD weather xpanas pon crease in a few hours. this one? after a lot of walking in europe for the whole day, crease pon last2 je.

Some perfume if oversprayed tend to sakitkan hidung. bau kuat. this one. smells nice and light even after the 3rd spray. bau macam rose yg sweet. the bottle is pretty tooo

After seeing them live, this song was stuck in my head. randomly terngiang ngiang lagu ni. so goodddd

Imagine Dragons' Night Visions

at first when I listen to the whole album, tak suka sgt. because the songs were over a broad range of style. Just compare Radioactive to It's Time to On Top of the World. semua lain2. but on a 13-hour flight to London, rasa sedap pulak lagu2 die. also, this is the first cd album that I bought at Speedy after so many yearsssss. since now dah balik, byk drive, it's nice to play the entire cd in the car. [maybe after buying some vinyls, I find it okay to actually buy a CD that I like LOL]

Europe Beauty Haul!

I went to London and Paris last week for a family vacation and it was the perfect opportunity to check out some products raved by the British beauty gurus on Youtube: Lisa Eldridge, Pixiwoo sisters, Tanya Burr, and Fleur DeForce. So I went to their Superdrug and Boots just to see what they got. and I also tried the No.7 skin shade matcher designed by Lisa Eldridge. and of course I went to a French pharmacie to check out their skincare products.

There was one thing that I targeted when I knew I was going to Paris: Bioderma. I was super excited when I saw it on the pharmacy's shelf! Also, I grabbed a La Roche Posay sunscreen. I know it is sold worldwide but I just felt like getting it. But the pharmacy consultant was a **&%$#^ and was not helpful at alllll! I asked what was the difference between melt-in cream and the dry touch version of the sunscreen and she said they're the same! just the phrasing. so I got the melt-in cream. and hampeh kuang hasam when I got back I read the FAQ sheet inside the box and it said that the melt-in cream was for normal to dry skin. so, screw you unhelpful French pharmacy lady. and have I mentioned that I hated Paris?

Okay back to the post, here are the rest of the beauty items that I purchased.

Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua ( €31.50)

Shade BR 52 the darkest shade available at the airport store. I love the scent. Lightweight but buildable. Everything that the makeup people raved on. The price there is equivalent to $40 ish while it sells for $45 in the US (not including tax). Cheap!

The sad thing is I wanted to buy a Tom Ford lipstick in Indian Rose too but it was sold out at Harrod's. and I can'r find it elsewhere :(

I got a sample of this from last year when I purchased the eye cream. skarang baru nak try. and I love it! it's moisturizing but tak buat skin oily. the lotion really absorbed into my skin and hydrates it.

My Blush Collection

I love blushes (well I love makeup in general). As I was about to buy another one, I looked into my collection to make sure that I was not buying another one of a similar color. and I realized that heyy why not buat blog post since it's been a while since I last posted about makeup.

Summer Wishlist

I am in the process of stocking up makeups before balik Malaysia. Especially brands that are not available back home. So I did a lot of research and came across a LOT of beautiful swatches. however, terjumpa la benda2 cantik from brands yg ada jual kt msia. can't buy it now, so imma save them for later (birthday present maybe? lol)

1. Burberry Misty blush


I was actually looking up for Nars Rikugien Satin Lip Pencil swatch and Temptalia reviewed the lip pencil while wearing this blusher. It's a light cool pink that looked amazing on Temptalia's cheeks! it brightened up her face yet still looked natural. I fell in love with the blush immediately (and totally forgot about Nars).

2. Burberry Check Strap watch

I don't know about you but I think this piece is absolutely beautiful. I LOVE the not so obvious Burberry check pattern on the straps and kat muka jam tu sdiri. Even though Burberry handbags are too 'pow wow in your face hello dunia aku pattern burberry' and doesn't look that appealing to me, the smaller accessories with pattern die sikit2 mcm ni I find them stunning. So yes confirmed barang hantaran sy nanti one of them is Burberry. xdela mahal sgt macam benda lain kan lol

MRSM Kuala Klawang; forever and always

*this is a long tribute post to MRSM Kuala Klawang (KK)*

I just saw one of my senior in KK updated his fb status that he was visiting his brother in MRSM KK. he also uploaded gambar kedai runcit yg mmg sume budak KK slalu pergi dulu. now teringat la balik everything about mrsm ni. I used to think that I hated this place, I would never turn back time to go back to this school. but bila terfikir pasal KK ni, there's a warm feeling inside and I cant help but smile.

It has been 10 years since I stepped foot on the compound of MRSM KK. My 1st boarding school yg mmg nak sgt masok. so since mmg nak masok, I was never really homesick.

This school taught me about discipline, hidup dlm community, mingle with people from different backgrounds, pasal benda2 agama, basuh baju sendiri, ajar makan nasi and lauk, being independent, and almost everything that I am today. The place that taught me to stay strong after I lost my Dad.

I love my classmates in KK. memula masa form 1 kelas lain. then after 2nd/3rd intake diorg rombak kelas. and my new class was the only klas form 1 kat bangunan form 3. betapa coolnye rasa masa tu. dah la klas kitorg tu mmg kat main path sume org. the final class yg sume org kena lalu kalo nak gi building cikgu and courtyard tempat perhimpunan. senior yg lalu sume pandang je, check out bebudak form 1 kan. kawan2 form1 yg lain kalo lalu pon pandang je kitorg sb kitorg cool kan hahahhah. well you can say kitorg yg plg tak rapat ngan the rest of our batch sb the isolation. but we have each other, and the whole class, boys and girls, were close to one another.

Nanti ada minggu aktiviti. classes were cancelled and the whole week was filled with all kinds of activities mcm fashion show, buat roket, pertandingan teh tarik, pertandingan masak, banner competition, mcm2 lah. then ada Hari Puteri, where all the girls dressed up and had dinner parties kat DB (dewan Bendahara) blakang aspuri (asrama puteri). pastu ada Hari Bumi, bukak puasa ramai2 ikut kelas(masa ni la budak pompuan control makan dpan classmate laki), then ada Hari Merdeka where kitorg kena perform choir patriotik (favorite lagu sume org is Warisan by Sudirman okay), and a whole lot more fun activities yg buat ngan classmates.

so, imagine la 3 years buat benda yg sama with org yg sama, mmg rapat. lg2 sume org masa tu kecik lagi, boys and girls tak malu sgt lagi ngan each other. sampai cikgu igt kitorg dating padahal sembang biasa je haha. siap kena panggil gi bilik guru kena lecture. igt lagi cikgu tanya, "awak nak kawin ngan die ni ke?" mesti la tanak cikgu kitorg kawan je tak dating laaaaaaaaa

then every Sunday kena gotong royong n kemas bilik. each bilik kena assigned cuci toilet ke koridor ke longkang aspuri. pastu every week ada kelas yg kena assign cuci surau, so excused from gotong royong aspuri. oh seronok nye cuci surau. cuci tempat wuduk. vacuum carpet. susun Quran. nnt boleh pasang lagu kat PA system surau. lol. then ada room inspection. after inspection sume puteri ada meeting kat taman. masa tu la nnt kena tegur ngan senior ke, nak bitchy2 ke. nak marah org pakai legging ke. suro org turunkan lengan kalo nk gi padang ke.

oh seronok. If MRSM KK still sama ngan dulu, I would def recommend kat orang. but dia dah renovate and dah jadi form 1 til form 5. So, I doubt it's the same. all my experience duduk situ gaduh ngan orang, gaduh ngan cikgu, made me think that I didn't have a great time. but now fikir balik, I can say that I love MRSM KK. mwahxx xoxo

Lesson #4: Be Nice

This is a new lesson I picked up from one of the gossmakeupartist youtube's videos. It is so simple that sometimes people might forget it.  

Senangnye, you can never go wrong with being nice. No one can hate you for it. But, if buat jahat kat orang, tambah enemies, nnt kena kutuk balik, org tak suka kita, org tanak kawan ngan kita etc2. Worse, nnt org buat jahat kt kita balik. Even though life is unfair and org mayb akan buat jahat kt kita regardless, being nice will lower the probability kite kena ngan orang. So, sape2 yg tanak hidup drama sgt mcm Gossip Girl, please be nice so that other people will be nice to you too.

Come to think of it, I love nice and kind people. it is a quality that I really respect. dlm masa2 genting pon, they hold true to their principles and be kind. and I will always remember them for their kindness.

tp tulah it is kind of hard bc I'm naturally a really nice person. sometimes I think of bad things, I feel selfish, bla2 everything yg biasa in human nature. but I will try to be nice and stay away from buat jahat kat orang.
