MUFE HD, MAC Studio Review

HD Invisible Cover Foundation
MUFE HD Foundation in the color #150.
Here's the thing, #150 is for medium skin with dark beige undertones. #155 is also for the same skin tone but a little bit darker. Now, the problem is, #155 is a bit too dark for me and #150 is a bit too light. pastu org sephora bagi aku yg light =.= result: nampak dalam pictures.

Top: Bebe. Shorts: Roxy. Boots: AE. Bag: Charlotte Russe

Can you see how fake my face looks like? PLUS banding skit ngan kaki tu.
Regardless, here's my review. Lightweight. Coverage not as good as the Giorgio Armani. Stays on ok la. Dried out my skin a tinyy bit. With proper moisturizing and priming, skin nampak flawless like HD 3D gituu. Looks amazing if pic taken using Iphone. Not so much with a flashed camera (Maybe due to color). Rating: 4/5 (poor color range).

What I do now is that I set my foundation with a light layer of Warmth from Bare Minerals to kind of bring back the kecokletan to my face.

You know what, I think it is so hard for me to find a foundation that is perfect for my skin tone. koko koko milo ni susah sikit.

MAC Studio Finish Concealer in NC42
Same problem. NC42 is a bit dark, NC40 is a bit light. I bought the darker one so that I can mix it with the Sonia Kashuk concealer palette (which all colors are too light for me) to get the right shade. Result: Awesomeness. I find that the studio finish concealer is more suitable to use on dark spots, zits and such. Not so much for under the eyes because it is thick, creamy, and a little bit drying. Rating: 4.3/5 (dryness).

For both products, face needs to be sufficiently moisturized prior to application. I am also looking forward for winter in the hope of skin tone gets lighter.

xoxo
