1)Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation ($59)
Recommended by my sister years ago when I don't even care about makeup. No I did not buy it (gile ko mahal kot) but I did go to the makeup counter, tested my color and got a small sample in a little glass jar. Pegi masa tgh2 summer dulu so this color might not suit my skin tone all year round. Baru last week try pakai masa kt DC. I THINK i'm in shade #8, not sure. So the verdict is: I LOVE IT! I would say it is full coverage without being heavy. the foundation alone berjaya cover jerawat batu aku yg nampak mcm ak kne blasah. Gave me a nice glow too but not oily. I applied it a with a mini Bare Minerals kabuki brush sample from Sephora and the combination was AMAZING. love love love. nak beli boleh?
2) CoverGirl NatureLuxe Foundation
I was contemplating between buying this or the Neutrogena Healthy Skin one. I chose this one because it has a nicer scent compared to Neutrogena. The verdict: meh. okayla for the price. maybe agak biased because I am comparing it to the Giorgio Armani one. (basically I fell in love with Armani and was trying to find a drugstore alternative to it). I'm in the color "Oak" which I think might be a littleeeee bit light for my skin tone, but not that obvious. I applied it with Sonia Kashuk small stippling brush and again, meh.. I'll try it with the Bare Minerals mini kabuki pulak today and will update if my opinion changes.
I am thinking of trying the MUFE HD foundation which is $20 cheaper than Armani. tgh obses ngan foundation pulak skarang ni. But I am thinking of restocking my Armani sample hihi. New Nordstrom, here I come.
