20th Birthday

Hola hola!

I just turned 20 on Monday and it was my first birthday away from my family. Last year I went back home and during my MRSM years my mom would come and visit.

My birthday gifts are: Iphone 4 from mama (mak bagi duit sila beli sdiri), Tory Burch Caroline flats in Camellia Pink (from Shah), Tarte True Blood palette (from Reny), and Nars lipstick in Napoli (from myself).

The thing is: none of the gifts is in my hands. LOL. but I did get a cake.

Ipong is on its way, Tory Burch waiting for stocks, True Blood have to buy online so need to wait for delivery too, and Napoli is also out of stock and have to buy online also.

The surprising thing is I am not sad at all. Well yes I would have been in cloud 9 if dapat sumer hadiah tu now but I don't really mind because I got to spend my birthday with the people that I love and that is all I wanted.

I went to Green Hills with Reny, went to dinner with Shah, and ended the night watching fireworks (which was spectacular) with both Reny and Shah, the two dearest people to me. So I think it was perfect.

I did interpret the events that happened on last weekend to be somehow related to my birthday. 1) A U2 concert at Vanderbilt's Football stadium which is just seblah umah. All of us can literally listen to each word Bono was saying/singing from our bedroom window. 2) Bella made ayam masak lemak cili api which I asked her to on Friday. Thanks Bella! 3) Bubur kacang hijau from Aliya. 4) karipap from Aten & Tasha. 5) Free Aunti Anne's pretzel since the kedai is closing already. 6) Halal Chicago KFC from kak fiqa. All of these events had nothing to do with my birthday at all, they were just coincidence. But isn't it fun to think of it otherwise? hahaha.
