my Redang experience

we took the 3 days 2 nights package (Berjaya air ticket inclusive). one can just google it and macam2 package lah kuar. easy.

the flight was about 55 minutes, land trus kat the island itself. since kite amik package, a Berjaya representative was already waiting for us at the Redang airport, with two buses to pick up pelancong2 yang comel ini. well, my mom and I were the only Malays, the others were foreigners or Malaysian Chinese families yg resided outside M'sia.

it was like a 5 min ride to Berjaya and all of the guests were seated at the hotel lobby. Berjaya people themselves yg datang to us and uruskan the whole check in thing. nice kan.

we got the Deluxe Garden Suite which was a chalet. it was great because dekat dgn everything; the lobby, the pool, the restaurant, and the beach! (which was sooooo lawaa).

the snorkeling trip included in the package was only for 1 stop, we changed it to 4 stops by paying an extra RM60 per person. the gears were all provided (most of the other package didn't have this, kena bayar lain). if you know how to swim, good for you. but if you sink like a rock once dalam air, don't worry because pakcik boat tu tolong guide by letting you hold on to a pelampung. they were really nice people and no one took advantage of anyone. lol.

only breakfast and dinner buffet were included, so lunch sendiri la. I would highly suggest to pergi lunch kat luar. there were two warung outside the resort, a 5-min-walk away. food were wayyy cheaper and 100 times lagi sedap.

the spa at the resort was called Ayura Spa. we had to called first to make a reservation and we asked for the aromatherapy massage. it felt really good. they even asked whether was it fine for them to massage the chest and tummy area. some spas did not even mention about massaging those areas and we ended up feeling like we were assaulted or something. LOL.

overall, it was an awesome vacation (minus the food). the people at Berjaya, Pulau Redang were really nice and friendly and they treat all of the tourists equally. I mean, sometimes hotels and resorts treat foreigners better than the locals but none what-so-ever happened to us =)
